Meet Our Team

Our team is made up of staff and volunteers who serve communities face to face, offering care, support, and hope through long-term relationships.

Steve’s Bio

In 1987 I committed my life to presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It led me on a journey I could never have imagined possible all those years ago.

I founded the Miracle Street charity to provide a structure for the expanding work and create a platform for others to be trained and developed. I owe a debt of gratitude to those who have prayed for me, supported the work and walked this journey by my side.

Paul’s Bio

I’m a church leader and also involved in many projects across the UK. I’ve been involved in Miracle
Street since the very beginning. I love taking church out to where people are and meeting them in everyday life.

Some of my favourite moments are the face-to-face conversations on the bus and the chance to connect with all sorts of people. I’m excited to see where the bus will take us next and who I’ll get to meet along the way.

Lorraine’s Bio

I work with Miracle Street on various projects and am excited about how the flexibility of the bus allows it to be in real areas of challenge where people need help and support. It has become such an amazing resource. The team show kindness and care to everyone who comes onboard.  Seeing the bus used to help support the wider city and show Christ’s compassion is brilliant.

Like many others I consider it a privilege to be trusted to hear someone’s life story and to provide real understanding and support.

Joel’s Bio

For the past few years I’ve supported Miracle Street through visual media and communication. Much of my role is behind the scenes, using film, design and storytelling to reflect the heart of our work in a way that feels real.

It’s a privilege to help share the stories that emerge in ordinary spaces, where something deeper is always unfolding.

Elaine’s Bio

I work as a safeguarding lead for a church network and serve on the local board, supporting Miracle Street and HR with safeguarding policies. I also love serving on the bus, helping create a safe and welcome space. It’s a real privilage to meet people where they are, and it’s my hope that everyone who steps aboard feels valued, supported and reminded that they matter deeply to God.

Izzy’s Bio

Being involved with Miracle Street means a lot to me because I love the idea of church showing up in the community, not staying closed off from the people who need it most.

I really enjoy the simple, friendly conversations and getting to meet people exactly where they’re at. I’m excited to see how Miracle Street grows and am grateful
to be part of it.

Holly’s Bio

I’m part of the Miracle Street team and absolutely love meeting new people, having conversations with them and talking about Jesus.

Communicating the Gospel while creating genuine relationships is really important to me. I’m here because Miracle Street facilitates it perfectly by taking the church onto the streets!

John’s Bio

I’m part of the Miracle Street team and one of the bus drivers, making sure we’re in the right place for the events we run.

I’ve served in pastoral care for decades, so being able to take the love of God out onto the streets through the bus is a real privilege.

Babs’s Bio

I volunteer for Miracle Street, helping out when and where I can. I am excited by how the Bus brings the love and kindness of Jesus to the people in an innovative and very practical way.

I love meeting people and see it a real privilege to listen to their stories, sharing precious moments with them.

David’s Bio

After retiring from the fire service, I’ve always wanted to find a way to keep helping people. Since becoming a Christian, the chance to meet and support people is the fuel that drives me.

I’m a bit like our bus. We’re both getting old, but the mission is to go where we’re needed.

Gill’s Bio

I first got involved with Miracle Street when the team took bus into Southampton. It became a place of safety for students away from their families and young adults who needed a safe space.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to help people and share the love of God with those who need care and compassion.
